iPhone coming to Fido, not just Rogers

by Noah Bloom Posted in Mobile

It’s true! July 11… in just 29 days. This will surely mean more competition in the Canadian market for these fancy devices and data plans… except… isn’t Fido just a part of Rogers empire? Aha!

Well we’ll just wait patiently for the blow that will be Canadian iPhone plan rates. It might be painful. Keep checking at NorthGeek for updates!

Does anyone knows how much the iPhone will cost for at Fido? At Montreal maybe? I can’t wait for this device to come over here already!

I love the website, write many posts please!

@FidoUser101: Thanks for the nice comments!

You bet! That’s the beauty of the Apple machine. They’ve locked the price at $199 for the 8GB model and $299 for the 16GB model (also in white). However that comes alongside a contract, and, oof, one in Canada which is 3 years (our national norm, clearly not the international norm (that is 2 years)). So the big mystery will be the plan pricing… will it be reasonable or SCARY!~
